SERVING Columbia, PA
Columbia is right across the Susquehanna from Wrightsville, about half an hour from our Manchester base, and we cover the river town for furniture assembly, TV mounting and other installs.
WHAT WE DO IN Columbia
We work in Columbia's older rowhomes and twins near Locust Street, the neighborhoods up the hill, and West Hempfield Township. The Route 462 bridge puts Columbia close to York County, and we can pair Columbia stops with jobs in Wrightsville and Marietta.
Kyle Hogan owns Assemblix. He is background checked, has been a Thumbtack Top Pro in 2023, 2024 and 2025, and has a 5.0 rating across 200+ reviews. Customers can pay with any major payment method.
Columbia has a lot of older housing stock, so walls, floors and stairwells come with their quirks. We plan around them, whether we are mounting a TV, building a bed or moving a dresser up to the third floor. Business owners along Locust Street can book us for office furniture and display mounting too.

Rowhome bedrooms rarely leave room to build a dresser in the hallway, so we assemble in the room itself and fit the piece to the space. Narrow doorways are another reason we build large pieces where they will stay.
Beds, desks, bookcases and TV stands are all on the list, and we take the cardboard, as described on our furniture assembly page.
Older Columbia homes can have plaster walls, which need a different approach than drywall. We find the framing and mount your TV level and secure. Drywall in the newer homes in West Hempfield is a simpler job, and we handle both.
Fixed and swivel mounts, including 60 inch and larger screens, are all covered by our TV mounting service.
Narrow rowhome stairs make moving a mattress, sofa or dresser a two-person job. We take it slowly and protect the walls and banister.
Getting a washer into a basement through a tight door is another job for our heavy lifting crew.
We install refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges and ovens on electric or natural gas, then run each one to make sure it works. Stacked laundry units in tight rowhome spaces are part of the job.
Older kitchens sometimes need extra fitting, and our appliance installation page explains what is included.
Older windows are rarely perfectly square, so we measure carefully and hang blinds and rods level and centered on each frame. Blackout curtains for bedrooms facing the street are an easy add.
Our blind and curtain installation uses studs where we can and proper anchors where plaster or brick gets in the way.
We build treadmills, bikes and home gyms in place, level the frame on your floor and check every bolt before we leave. When a stairway is too tight for a finished machine, we build it at the bottom instead of forcing it down.
Basement gyms in older homes are a good fit for our fitness equipment assembly.
Boxed playsets and swing sets are assembled, leveled and anchored for your yard, with the packaging hauled off when we are done. Sloped backyards near the river get leveled before the set goes up.
Every bolt is torqued to spec as part of our swing set assembly.
We clean, prep and stain or seal decks so the finish lasts through a river valley summer, as outlined under deck staining.
Ask about painting and handyman work for the rest of the house.
About 30 minutes. We cross the river from York County, and Columbia is inside our 45 mile service area.
Yes. Wrightsville, Marietta and West Hempfield Township are also in range. Pairing stops on both sides of the river is one way we keep scheduling flexible.
Yes. Plaster needs a different technique than drywall, and we find solid framing before mounting.
Text or call (717) 318-0791 with what you need. The estimate is free. Mention the wall type if you know it, since plaster and brick need different hardware.
